National Basketball Retired Players Association and DentaQuest Announce Partnership to Bring Dental Benefits to Former Players

Innovative engagement with DentaQuest will provide a new health service to former players

The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA), the only association comprised of NBA, ABA, Harlem Globetrotters and WNBA alumni, is partnering with DentaQuest to provide oral health services and care to former professional basketball players.

As the second largest dental benefits administrator in the country and a leading dental care provider, DentaQuest will not only bring high-quality services to former players, but will also work with the NBRPA to raise awareness of the importance of oral health in local communities.

“As a non-profit association dedicated to serving the former player community we are constantly seeking partnerships that benefit our alumni of the NBA, ABA, Harlem Globetrotters and WNBA,” said NBRPA President & CEO Arnie D. Fielkow. “Through this innovative new relationship, our members have access to discounted oral health services and top-of-industry customer service from DentaQuest.”

This partnership furthers DentaQuest’s mission to improve the oral health of all. DentaQuest works to achieve this mission by increasing access to dental benefits, care and awareness throughout the United States. The DentaQuest Care Group aims to increase compliance and treatment completion among patients in communities across the country, in coordination with the efforts of DentaQuest, the DentaQuest Institute and the DentaQuest Foundation.

“We are excited to bring high-quality, cost-efficient dental care to the members of the National Basketball Retired Players Association,” said Dave Dagostino, Vice President of DentaQuest Care Group. “As a former basketball player and coach, this partnership is particularly meaningful to me personally, and I look forward to what it will bring in the future.”
