When Texas was hit with a winter storm that left thousands of people across the state without power or water for weeks. Many were left to fend for themselves as they tried to survive the harsh winter weather. Some were left without food, while others struggled with burst pipes from the cold.  

To help those affected by the winter storm, DentaQuest donated more than $200,000 in corporate giving and employee programs. The contributions included: 

• A $200,000 donation to the Central Texas Food Bank in Austin, which is helping families in the region as they recover from the aftermath 
• Matching 100% of donations made by employees to charitable organizations across Texas through our Texas Winter Storm Relief campaign  
• Access to DentaQuest’s free employee assistance program — for well-being resources, including legal and financial assistance 
• A supply of bottled water for employees and their families at DentaQuest’s Austin office, while the area was under a boil-water order 

DentaQuest is a mission-driven organization that aims to ensure equitable access to care for all. We know that work starts in our communities. Our corporate giving initiatives support more than 150 organizations nationwide.  

DentaQuest has long been a proud partner to Texas.  

At the start of the pandemic, DentaQuest donated $400,000 for COVID-19 relief in the state. The funds were donated to the OneStar Foundation Texas COVID Relief Fund, which continues to raise and distribute funds to eligible organizations working to support the economic recovery of Texas communities. DentaQuest also continues to support efforts to protect and expand adult dental coverage in Texas, as we know doing so improves patient care and is crucial to maintaining a patient's overall health.  

We have been devastated to see so many families impacted by the storm. We stand ready to do more — because that’s what true partners do.
