Jon Carlisle Joins DentaQuest as Director of Communications

“Jon’s experience as a strategic thinker and effective communicator makes him a valuable member of our team as we work to advance our mission to improve the oral health of all,” said Steve Pollock, DentaQuest Chief Operating Officer. “Dental disease is the most common chronic disease in children; nearly half of American adults have periodontal disease. Jon will play a vital role in our work to equip our members and our communities with the tools they need to combat dental disease through prevention.”
Prior to joining DentaQuest, Carlisle served the Massachusetts Treasurer’s Office as the agency’s primary spokesperson and head of media relations. Previous to that, he was a key member of Rasky Baerlein’s Strategic Communications financial services, real estate and retail practice group. Carlisle also led Communications teams for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority and for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Transportation. In his early career, he was Communications Director in Maine for the Dole-Kemp presidential campaign, Assistant Communications Director for Robert Monks’ campaign for the U.S. Senate in Maine, and Assistant Press Secretary for United States Senator William S. Cohen.
Carlisle holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Bates College.
