DentaQuest, the dental benefits program manager for TennCare, today announced the promotion of Michele Blackwell to regional vice president for the southeast.
In her new role, Blackwell will manage dental networks and client relationships across the southeastern U.S. to assure compliance with state and client requirements, and will monitor all aspects of provider and network performance to ensure the highest quality of member care and cost-effective operations. She’ll also coordinate with the southeast region’s sales, finance and underwriting teams to align on network activities, benchmarks and goals.
Blackwell has held several positions within DentaQuest over the course of her career, having been with the company for more than 14 years. “The Tennessee team was excited to hear of Michele’s return and is confident her transition will be seamless,” said Steven Brady, Tennessee project director for DentaQuest. “Michele’s history with DentaQuest equips her with invaluable experience and knowledge. Under her leadership, we’re confident that the networks and client relationships she oversees will flourish.”
