DentaQuest Earns J.D. Power's Top Rank in Customer Satisfaction with Dental Plan Insurance
Study surveyed plan members of the eight largest US dental insurance providers
BOSTON – DentaQuest, the nation’s leading oral health enterprise with roughly 24 million members across 30 states, ranks highest in customer satisfaction with dental plan insurers, according to the latest J.D. Power Dental Plan Satisfaction ReportSM. The report measures customer satisfaction across five key areas including cost, coverage, communications, customer service and reimbursement.

DentaQuest ranked highest with an 801 rating on a 1,000-point scale and was the only plan ranked “among the best” for overall satisfaction, a 65-point improvement from 2015. Across the board, J.D. Power reported a significant increase in overall satisfaction with dental plan insurance – the highest level in the three years the study has been conducted – attributable in large part to improved communications.
Specifically, DentaQuest achieved the highest score in two areas: communications and cost. The first underscores the importance of transparent and timely communications, both core strategies for DentaQuest. The second points to the success of DentaQuest’s emphasis on person-centered care to improve outcomes and lower costs.
